In light of the recent executive orders issued by the White House and the related impacts on federally funded programs, we have made the challenging decision to cancel the 2025 Bridging the Gap Symposium.

Although Symposium will not be offered this year, our commitment to the counseling profession and counselors remains steadfast. Part of that commitment includes the NBCC Board’s approval of full funding support to cover $1,469,000 in Fellowship stipends for current Fellows. Additionally, over the next few months, NBCC and NBCCF will offer professional development opportunities designed to promote workforce expansion, reduce regulatory barriers, and advance access to counseling.
